About the Indoor Hitting League
Players compete through several different hitting drills and are awarded points as they hit "hot regions" on the nets by focusing on hitting line drives, opposite field and in the air. This is a fun way to learn fundamentals such as grip, alignment, setup and posture in the box while getting in extra reps and learning the feel for the different parts of the swing. Players typically have time to warm up by hitting off of tees. The game is scored based on 10 reps through a series of 5 different stations or drills. Stations and drills range from Tee work, to soft toss stations, to live baseballs being thrown off of a pitching machine.
